l'aiguière décorée de deux cartouches opposés aux armes d'un aigle couronné et d'un poisson, au centre de grands rinceaux de fleurs, le bassin en suite avec des pivoines dans un médaillon central et armoiries autour du cavetto
Condition
The ewer is in good condition with the exception of the missing cover and a small original shrinkage in the glaze and minor frits beneath the loop handle which is otherwise pierced with two small holes, a section of the basin (12 x 20 cm) has been broken and is now restored with repaints (old restoration), there is a 2,8cm hairline crack to the rim, the foot is pierced with two holes for suspension, some expected wear and rubbing to the enamels inside.
