Description

with various polychrome coloured paper motifs applied to a beige paper ground, the central motif depicting a King Charles Spaniel on a faux pietre dura pedestal with a border of flowers and butterflies, signed Nicolas Hambrouck in a small floral wreath in the centre of the lower border, within a wooden glazed frame.

Condition

This panel would benefit from re-framing as not completely flat. Some discolouration to the gilded areas, for example see pedestals, some discolouration to ground, only noticable on close inspection. Small curved split befow tail of dog through flower.
