- 73cm. high, 56cm. wide, 56cm. deep; 2ft. 4¾in., 1ft. 10in., 1ft. 10in.
the glazed top covering a surface painted with a chess board within a foliate border raised on a spiral turned stem with an ivory inlaid triform base
Condition
A pretty table. Brown stains resulting from liquid spillage at some point under the glazed top to one corner. Bruise to upper right square of playing surface, this has probably occurred due to an age crack. Craquelure to painted surface. It is possible that the top could be associated, however the ebonised gadrooned carved border conforms in terms of colour and patination to the finish of the base. Ivory inlay distressed and traces of worm to base. Top unscrews.
