Description

the dark indigo ground with an overall ivory leaf trellis work and stylised flowerhead medallions, within a narrow madder border of stepped leaves and rosettes,

Condition

Pile approximately 2mm, variable, with wear to knot-bars in areas, especially in centre. Ends not overlocked, with reduced fringes at both ends, and losses to outermost guards. Blue overcast sides, with small section of side cords exposed bottom of the right side. Depressed pile in two square sections up the right side, caused by heavy weight. Small areas of blue and brown repiled in areas.
