Arabic manuscript on paper, 17 leaves, 11 lines to the page, 3 lines of gold Thuluth script in horizontal panels, 8 lines of Naskhi script in black written inbetween, flanked by vertical panels filled with thin gold leafy scrolls, verses marked by gold segmented roundels outlined in blue and embellished with red and blue dots, illuminated marginal roundels composed of a thick gold band enclosing polychrome flowers against a blue ground, opening page illuminated headpiece with heading in white Thuluth against a gold ground cartouche, within a horizonatal panel filled with interlacing vines against blue, gold and red grounds, with a strapwork border, surmounted by three triangular elements with corresponding decoration, morocco binding with gilt-stamped covers comprising an outer band of cartouches and a central panel filled with dense and rigorous scrolls and chinoisérie cloudbands, doublures with a central medallion and cornerpieces of gold filigreework, with flap

In fair overall condition, some marginal paper repairs, pages with some staining, opening illumination colours and gold bright, doublure filigreewoek rubbed, binding with some cracks, repair to the spine, as viewed.
