An Egyptian Bronze Figure of a Cat, 22nd/26th Dynasty, 944-525 B.C.
Seated with the long tail curved around to the left forepaw, the face with engraved whiskers and long erect ears with striated detail, and wearing a necklace with Eye of Horus pendant, the fur and the pendant inlaid in gold, the ears pierced for now missing earrings.
Height from base 3 1/8 in. 7.9 cm.
