the first incised 'MER'

- 11.5cm., 21cm. and 13.5cm. high respectively;
- 4½in., 8¼in., 5¼in.
porcelain, mottled brown and blue dot design, with undulating rim; earthenware, ochre slip over textured body; together with a glass and patinated copper vase by Anne Dickson, signed and dated 1988
Condition
Of good overall appearance. The Mary Rogers vase of a more cream tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The Elspeth Owen vase of a more ochre yellow tone than suggested by the catalogue illustration. The Anne Dickson vase signed and dated to the underside as well as to the inside of the copper rim. There are two scratches to the underside and one or two very minor scratches to the body.
