built by J.H. Coulter, Porthcawl with external details including displacement lubricators, vacuum pump and pipework brake and sanding gear, firebox washout plugs, detailed cab and backhead fittings and other details.  Tender details include brake gear, water cocks, firing iron racks, filler cap, steps and hand irons, finished in finely line SE&CR livery and lining (one cab door detached). Display track with brass plate engraved "SECR 4-4-0 Class 'D' No. 726 built in 1901, w'drawn 1947"
