SURFACE: each is in good condition, generally; in the second, there are scattered areas of fine craquelure and at the lower left (under cow and to right of chicken) losses from flaking--aside from this, some small scattered losses (lower center and center right); for both paintings, surfaces are dirty and would benefit from a light cleaning UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: no apparent inpainting
