SURFACE: in fair condition; craquelure throughout (with stretcher marks)--cupping in some areas; a few scattered losses (look white)--lower right, upper right and upper center; a few old repairs at upper left UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: scattered spots of inpainting, most of it at the upper left quadrant (largest is about 1 1/2 in. diam at upper left); touch-ups along the stretcher marks
