Canvas is lined. SURFACE: in good condition, generally; there is repaired paint separation in the browns, dark greens in foreground (seaweed and seagrass)--hardly shows UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: as mentioned earlier, scattered dots/dashes throughout seaweed/seagrass in foreground to cover paint separation; painting is clean except for a large area at left (about 8 by 10 in.)--here, there is a network of tears (the larger one in the shape of a "T" on its side; the smaller, two tears, close together above it--all are located above and below the two ships at left)
