(Both works are in their original frames and in both cases, appears that artist laid down canvas to board) Both are in good condition, generally; a few scattered, small losses in lower half of both pictures (show clearly in illustrations--are white) UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: no apparent inpainting
the larger of the two paintings shows the figure resting atop a cliff (at left); the smaller picture is insribed with date
