in generally good condition; surface is toned--edges are lighter than rest of sheet (probably from former matting); soiling to surface: remnants of glue from old vertically placed strips of tape (?) at right (all over door behind butler's arm), circles drawna couple of circles drawn in pencil at right and some erased pencil marks at lower right, '38A 'written at lower left; edges are intact
