The pendant composed of a large carved chalcedony winged scarab, flanked by uraeii crowned with lotuses, set with a drop-shaped onyx and an onyx bead, accented by rose-cut diamonds, supported by a necklace composed of faceted coral beads measuring approximately 16.0 to 10.0 mm., onyx rings and round diamonds weighing approximately 5.40 carats, length 36 inches, workshop mark for Périnet, Paris, French assay marks.

Condition
Good condition. Numerous rose-cut and 72 round diamonds, approximately H to J color, VS to I clarity. One small rose-cut missing. The chalcedony is a translucent milky taupe color. The medium peachy orange beads present generally even coloration with very minor spots of matrix and white mottling and the occasional small cavity. One onyx ring near the pedant is chipped (as seen in catalogue illustration). Please note that the necklace was formerly from the Property of Maria Felix, sold in Geneva on May 15, 1996.
