  • 18 karat gold,suede,clock,purse
The clock with a rectangular dial and Arabic numerals, within a gold frame with 'shutters' that open to reveal the dial, manual movement, circa 1935, back interior signed Verger, France, numbered 4772, caseback numbered 1773, maker's mark, French assay mark; the suede purse latter added, measuring approximately 8ΒΌ by 6 inches, signed Yves St. Laurent.

Condition

The movement with 15 jewels, adjusted signed CYMA, Swiss made, numbered 128706, patented. Mounting and back interior stamped Bte S.G.D.G. The clock is presently running. Back of case is worn, surround is heavily re-enameled, outer clock case has slight indentations. Shutters open by rotating right crown (facing); to change on set time, use left crown. Purse opens by pulling flap outwards from the top of it. Suede worn and lightly soiled due to age. Please see the Important Notice Regarding the Condition of Watches on page 158 of the catalogue.
