Description
- platinum,emerald,diamond,pearl,bracelet
Composed of four strands of pearls measuring approximately 5.7 to 3.8 mm., the clasp set in the center with a carved cabochon emerald measuring approximately 16.0 by 12.0 by 7.7 mm., flanked by kite-shaped emeralds, and baguette, square-cut, half-moon-shaped and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.75 carats, length 7½ inches.
Condition
Set with a carved cabochon emerald, 2 kite-shaped emeralds, 4 baguette, 4 square-cut, 2 half-moon-shaped and 55 single-cut diamonds. The central emerald is semi-transparent and carved as a flowerhead on the top and a sunburst (or partial flowerhead) on the bottom; lighter in color than the flanking emeralds which are medium to medium-deep slightly bluish green and eye-clean. The kite-shaped emeralds may have been later-added, replacing what may have originally been pear-shaped diamonds. The diamond-set grounds surrounding these emeralds also seem point in this direction as they show evidence of having been worked/adjusted. The diamonds are approximately near colorless, VS to SI clarity. The round to near round pearls range from creamy white to a more pure white, bear with varying degrees of green and pink overtones, waxy to high luster, and minor blemishing.
