One with two chips to the footrim with associated flakes and losses of enamels (11 x5 cm and 4.5 x 3,2 cm) ; the cover of the vase with a C-shape broken and re-stuck section (10cm) on one angle and the inner rim with a broken chip in two sections also re-stuck (12 x 4.5cm). A crack inside the cover ; three hairline cracks in the glaze outside (the longest 11cm) ; some overall rubbing to the enamels ; expected firing impurities ; the bottom of one cartouche is drilled and adapted with a metallic pipe (diam. 1.5 cm), probably the remains of the vase being adapted as a fountain ; the other with a C-shape chip (12.5cm) to the rim ; some light rubbing to the enamels ; expected minor firing impurities ; pin-pricks and air bubbles ; the cover with some fritting around the rim ; otherwise in good condition ; Provenance label: "Pietro Accorsi Antichita, Via Po. 55, Torino". Please note that one of the vase (the one to the left illustrated on page 68) may be later in date than the other, the glaze ground beeing somewhat darker/greyer than on the other.
