Illuminated Arabic manuscript on paper, approximately 700 leaves, 7 lines per page written in large, bold naskhi script in black ink, gold discs between verses, double interlinear gold rules, sura headings written in white thuluth script on gold panels, further text divisions marked in margins with illuminated devices, two opening double pages of illumination in colours and gold, brown morocco binding with central medallion and cornerpieces of gilt-stamped leather onlay
Condition
Very good overall condition. The binding shows wear considering age in good condition, as viewed.
