Illuminated Arabic manuscript on paper, 192 leaves, 19 lines per page written in small, neat naskhi script, interlinear gold throughout, sura headings in blue or red thuluth script on illuminated panels, juz' and hizb divisions marked in margins with illuminated devices, three opening double pages of illumination in colours and gold, fine contemporary floral lacquer binding
Condition
Very good overall condition, minor nibbles to some pages, otherwise lacquer in excellent state of repair, pages clean and fresh, ink strong and bold, colours and gold bright, as viewed
