Condition

Overall good restored condition; the top with the majority of the original painted faux marble to the surface but appears to have a layer of light varnish to the surface probably to preserve painted surface and with small chips and losses throughout now with inpainting; the edge of the top with small chips and losses and with inpainting; minor warpage to the top and lifting very slightly at the front; the painted veneered frieze with a small patch of lifting to the right side; scratches and minor losses to the paint and gilding; the legs appear to retain original painted surface under a layer of varnish and inpainting in places with small chips and losses to the paint and gesso and with bruises nicks and dents; the front right leg and back left leg are separating from the stretcher and can be easily re-glued; the platform stretcher with extensive wear and small losses to the surface probably due to a vase or object being placed on top of it; the stretchers with extensive losses to the original surface and with inpainting; stretchers with rubbing and wear to the turnings; feet tipped.
