the later leather-lined top above three frieze drawers opposed by three frieze drawers raised on square tapering legs ending in spade feet.
Condition
Overall good condition; sun-fading to color of mahogany throughout; the later leather-lining with some old marks, scratches and stains; the crossbanded veneered edge with chips to two corners, drawer fronts appear to be re-veneered; one long side with a chip to veneer above far left drawer and with separation to veneers to drawer dividers over lines of construction; the other long side with a small chip to the veneer next to the far left dawer beneath bottom corner and with separations to veneers to tops of drawer dividers over lines of construction; one drawer lacking a lock plate; one drawer lacking cockbeading to the left side; mahogany lined drawers with restorations; one brass keyhole to one drawer lacking; handles later; underside of the top with blocks to correct warpage and now with a later wash; top of one drawer divider bearer with replacements; two cross-bars supports to the either short end replaced; chips and losses to corners of legs; rubbing and wear to feet.
