the rectangular top with canted corners above a conforming frieze raised on a trestle support embellished with ebonized and parcel-gilt panels, on casters.

Condition

Overall very good restored condition; the top with a glossy finish; the underside of one long side of top with slight separation between lines of construction and with a shim; some losses to the gilding and with some discoloration and wear to the ebonized decoration; overall with some old marks and scratches, especially to the feet.
