the upscrolled upholstered siderests with molded scrolled stiles ending with flowerhead roundels flanking a serpentine-fronted trapazoidal upholstered seat with fluted apron raised on turned and fluted circular tapering legs headed by flowerhead roundels and ending in turned toupee feet.  Restorations, redecorated.

Condition

Overall fair restored condition; redecorated; the first with old repaired break to the top of the front left leg; later strips of wood to the tops of each seat rail; the underside of the back seat rail and right side seat rail with infilling; later cross-brace; underside of left side rail with a later tenon into the back left leg; back left leg with a horizontal age crack to the flower-head roundel and with a later block to the back edge; later corner blocks; small chips to flower-head roundels and to tops of legs; the other with an old glued break to the front right stile above the leg; top of front left leg with a replaced facing beneath the flower-head roundel to the front and left sides, top of back left leg with the same replaced facing to the side beneath the roundel; roundels with age cracks; old repaired breaks to necks of front legs at top; underside of front rail with cut-in reinforced sections at joins with front legs; tops of rails with later wood strips; later corner blocks; back left foot spliced; overall with old worm to rails and to legs; chips, wear, inpainting and losses to painted decoration and to gilding.
