the top with hinged flap opening to a well, the case fitted with three dummy drawers above a pair of drawers and a set of three drawers, raised on bracket feet.
Condition
Overall good restored condition; the top with patches and replacements to the crossbandings and with some inpainting and staining; rubbing and wear to the edges; front edge of molding to top with three large losses and with nicks; the wood support holding the hinged top open later; some patches, replacements and cracks and nicks to crossbandings of drawer fronts; drawer bottoms restored with some replacements and shims; bracket feet later with losses to the back legs to the undersides; front left corner of apron with a crack and loss; small chips and losses to the front right corner of apron and to right side; bottom left side panel with a replaced vertical molding; age cracks to lower parts of quarter-pilasters; overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises; hardware replaced.
