each oval with gadrooned border, engraved on one side with a crest above an applied molded girdle, the reed handles springing from lion heads and centered by a double-shell flanked by foliage, the lower body gadrooned and raised on four scroll supports headed by acanthus and terminating in acanthus-capped pad feet, the conforming stepped domed cover with matching gilt heraldic finial crest

some overall wear, marks on tureens rubbed, finials without maker's mark but with appropriate lion passant; otherwise good, strong model
