each painted with six figural panels reserved on an applied squirrel and vine ground, the covers each with a seated lion knop.

Condition

One vase: One handle has been broken off and reglued back on. There are losses to three of the four wings of the two bats above the upper panel. Second vase: There is a 1/4 inch shallow rim chip. One cover's knop has been glued back on. The other cover's knop has been restored back on and the interior of hte cover is sprayed. Please note there are differences between the modeling of the two vases, and it is possible the covers have been matched from another set of vases.
