the solid mahogany rectangular top above a central comparmentalized frieze drawer and a niche with pierced brackets flanked by mahogany-lined drawers, the left with a compartmentalized interior, the right with a lead-lined cellaret, each on brass rollers, each side panel centered by a brass bail handle, raised on molded square legs.

Condition

Overall good condition; very high quality; nice color, old dry surface; solid mahogany side panels; the solid mahogany top with minor warpage and with the usual stains and scratches; left side panel with an old horizontal age crack now with a fillet with some infilling and a stabilizing block to the interior; the front left drawer with small loss to top left concave corner molding; lacking cockbeaded molded edge to right side; small loss to cockbeading to bottom right corner; central drawer with some small nicks to cockbeading; right cellaret drawer with repaired break to bottom right molding; chip to bottom right corner approximately 1 1/2 in. x 1/4 in with subsequent loss to cockbeading; legs with typical bruises, scuffs and scratches; bail handle to right side replaced; one back plate to bail handle of left side replaced.
