Description
- mahogany
comprising two armchairs and ten side chairs. The back rail of each with a stenciled Roman numeral, and stamped with a Roman numeral. Each side chair stamped MM to the exterior of the back seat rail. Molded edges to tops of seat rails later.

A manuscript drawing by Chippendale with a similar backrest is now in the collection of The Chippendale Society.
