the later molded cornice above a pair of paneled doors with leaf-carved serpentine edging, opening to a shelved interior, the lower section fitted with two short drawers over two long drawers, on pierced bracket feet.  Cornice replaced , losses, restorations.

Condition

Overall fair restored condition; the molded cornice and back blocks to cornice replaced and with some scuffs and wear; keyhole escutcheons replaced; the cupboard doors slightly warped, the central panels with shrinkage consistent with age and with slight separation from frame; backs of doors with later wood moldings to cornes to hold the panels in place; patches to right side panel; right cupboard door with a split to the top right corner molded edge which is slightly loose; some age cracks to veneers of doors; old repaired break to the vertical molding running down the central edge of the right cupboard door and with losses; the interior possibly lacking two sliding shelves; back board with a loose panel; each side panel with a large vertical age crack to the back edge running the length of the panel; the lower section with chips and nicks to the molded edge along the top; molded edge to left side replaced; left side panel with a large age vertical age crack to the center over a later thin mahogany long patch top of side panel with some old chips and with infilling; the right side panel with some minor age cracks and with a small patch to the top edge; small patch to top of front left stile and with an 8-inch patch to the edge next to top long drawer; the central drawer with lifting to the cockbeading to the bottom edge; patch to drawer divider above central drawer above the lock plate; front right foot with slightly loose side bracket, the carved element probably replaced; back bracket feet replaced; overall with old marks and scratches.
