Les Goudes est un petit port près de Marseille où Boris Kochno acquiert en 1942-1943 un cabanon. Bérard y passera beaucoup de temps et peindra plusieurs portraits de la jeunesse du village ainsi que de nombreuses aquarelles et gouaches

Bon état général.
La toile à été réentoilée.
Après examen à la lampe de wood, quelques retouches visibles sur une surface d'environ 3 x 4 cm en haut à gauche du personnage. Il y a quelques infimes retouches éparses vers la partie inférieure de la composition, notamment à une d'environ 1.5 x 1.5 vers la gauche du bord inférieur. Il y a également dix petites retouches d'environ 1 x 0.2 cm parmi d'autres infimes retouches sur la montagne et le ciel.

Good stable condition.
The canvas appears to be lined. Examination under UV light reveals a 3x4cm area of retouching to the upper left of the figure. There are scattered minor spots of retouching throughout the lower part of the composition, notably a 1.5x1.5cm spot towards the left of the lower edge. There are also ten 1x0.2cm spots of retouching as well as other scattered minor spots of retouching in the mountain and sky parts of the composition.
