Il s'agit d'une étude pour la 7e Symphonie, la Bacchanale. Le ballet la 7e Symphonie a été créé en mai 1938 pas les Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo sur la musique de Beethoven. Christian Bérard en dessina les costumes

examiné avec son cadre. Exécuté sur papier beige. Quelques petites pliures horizontales dans la partie basse de la composition. Hormis une petite déchirure horizontale d'1 cm de long courant horizontalement depuis le côté gauche, cette pièce est en bonne condition.

Not examined unframed. Executed on beige paper. There are some flattened horizontal creases in the lower part of the composition. Apart from a 1cm long tear running horizontally from the left edge this work is in good stable condition.
