Bon état général. Le panneau est en bon état, légèrement convexe. Un examen attentif révèle d'infimes petits manques épars sur l'ensemble de la surface, notamment une petite égratignure à l'angle inférieur gauche et d'autres horizontales le long du bord inférieur. Après examen à la lampe de wood, quelques retouches sur une ligne de 2 cm et trois infimes points sur le coup, deux retouches d'environ 0.5 x 0.5 cm vers le nez et sourcils ainsi que quelques petites retouches éparses autour de la bouche ant des noignets et une sur la joue, le front et le menton. Plusieurs petite retouhces éparses sur le fond, notamment sur le bord gauche, le long du bord inférieur droit et sur 3 cmau dessus de la tête. Vernis sur la surface. A close examination reveals scattered minor superficial nicks to the surface of the work throughout, notably a small scratch in the lower left corner and other horizontal ones along the lower edge. Examination under UV light reveals a 2cm line of retouching and 3 minor spots of retouching on the figure’s neck, two 0.5x0.5cm retouched losses of pigment near the figure’s nose and eyebrows as well as minor scattered spots of retouching around the mouth and wrist, and on the chin, forehead and cheek. There are various scattered spots of retouching throughout the background, notably towards the left edge, along the lower right edge and one faint 3cm line of retouching above the figure’s head.
