Bon état général. La toile n'est pas réentoilée. Réseau de craquelures visible surl al surface de la toile (visible au catalogue). Après examen à la lampe de wood, six reptites retouches éparses apparaissent sur les pigment beiges du T-shirt du personnage ainsi qu'une trace d'environ 05. x 0.5 cm vers le centre du bord inférieur. Ligne de retouches verticales vers le centre de la partie inférieure de la composition ainsi qu'une retouche d'environ 0.5 x 0.3 vers la guache du cou du personnage. Quatre lignes intermittantes de retouches verticales vers le front du persoannage et une autre vers la gauche du visage. Une autre petite retouche au dessus de l'oeil gauche et une retouche infime à l'intérieur de l'oeil ainsi qu'une rayure courbe d'environ 2.5 cm au dessus de la tête qui a été retouchée. There is a network of craquelures throughout (as visible in the catalogue illustration). Examination under UV light reveals six scattered pin-head-sized spots of retouching in the beige pigment of the figure’s shirt as well as a 0.5x0.5cm stain of retouching towards the centre of the lower edge. There is a 5cm intermittent line of retouching running vertically down the centre of the lower part of the composition and a 0.5x0.3cm spot of retouching to the left of the figure’s neck. There are four intermittent lines of retouching running vertically down the figure’s forehead and another to the left of the head. There is one 0.2x0.3 spot of retouching above the left eye and one pin-head-sized spot on the inner left eye as well as a 2.5cm curved scratch above the head which has also been retouched.
