La succursale de la Samaritaine était dirigée par Jean Blasset et André Guggiari, dessinateurs chez Chanaux, qui ont travaillé pour Jean-Michel Frank.

Sur cette publicité on reconnait des sièges dont le dessin est indubitablement de Jean-Michel Frank et d'autres meubles qui semblent des variantes de meubles connus de ce dernier. Il est, à ce jour, impossible d'affirmer si nos tabourets sont des créations de Frank, diffusées par la succursale du luxe de la Samaritaine ou bien des interprétations, créées par les ateliers de cette succursale. On sait en effet que le magasin diffusait des oeuvres d'artistes extérieurs aux ateliers, notamment des dinanderies de Jean Dunand et  Katsu Hamanaka.

The Samaritaine's branch was managed by Jean Blasset and André Guggiari, designers for Chanaux  who worked for Jean-Michel Frank. In this publicity, we recognize the seats, certainly designed  by Jean-Michel Frank, and others, that are a variations on furniture known to be Frank's.  It is today impossible to tell whether our seats are a creation of Frank, distributed by the luxury branch of the Samaritaine, or  or if they are an interpretation created by the workshop of the branch. We know that the departement store sold dinanderies by Jean Dunand and Katsu Hamanaka
