Exhibited
London, The Redfern Gallery, Paul Feiler, Paintings, Past and Present, 22nd May- 21st June 2007, (unnumbered).
Condition
The canvas and the board are sound.
There are surface markings and inconsistencies to the gold leaf around the border of the painting, which appear integral to the work. There are also one or two markings to the wooden relief, for example the white surface matter on the piece of horizontal wooden relief in the upper right quadrant. Otherwise the work appears in good original condition.
Under ultraviolet light certain areas fluoresce but these appear to be the result of the pigment used and not retouchings.
Unframed.
