Condition

Original canvas. The canvas undulates very slightly and there are pinholes in each corner. There are some very light marks in the lower left corner, which may be some slight mould. Otherwise the paint surface is in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held under glass in gilt plaster box frame; unexamined out of frame.
