Condition

Original canvas. There are a few faint signs of craquelure along the upper edge, in the upper right corner, in the grey pigment near the centre of the left hand edge and also in the upper half of the green rectangular shape along the left hand edge. Otherwise in generally good overall conditions, with strong passages of impasto throughout. Under ultraviolet light there is a small area of flecked retouchings near the upper right hand edge in line with the bottom of the grey section which runs across the upper edge. Held with in a grey painted wooden box frame agains a cream coloured backboard. Please telephone the department on 0207 293 6424 if you have any questions about the present work.
