  • both stamped with monogram, numbered 694 3/8 and stamped with foundry mark
  • bronze with black patina and polished faces, one with polished torso
  • one, height: 27.5cm.; 10¾in.; the other, height: 28.5cm.; 11¼in.
  • Conceived in 1975, the present work is number 3 of an edition of 8.

Condition

Figure with Polished Chest: Dirt has gathered in some of the crevices and there are some scattered specks of surface matter to isolated areas across the work. There is a vertical line of surface staining running from the neck to the bottom of the figure and there are one or two tiny specks of verdigris near this stain. There are of few marks to the patination on the chest, and some of the patination is slightly worn along a few of the raised edges. Figure Without Polished Chest: Dirt has gathered in some of the crevices and there are some scattered specks of surface matter to isolated areas across the work. There are of few marks to the patination on the face, two small surface abrasions to the edge of the figure's chest, and a small mark where the patination has rubbed away slightly to the back of the figure's head. There are one or two tiny specks of verdigris . Otherwise both of these works are in good overall condition.
