Condition

Original canvas. There is some minor paint separation and one or two lines of very minor craquelure to the yellow pigment in the sky and the thicker pigment in the foreground. There are a few specks of surface matter near the lower left corner and artist's pinholes in the corners. Otherwise the surface is in good overall condition with areas of strong impasto. Ultraviolet light reveals pigments which fluoresce that are the hand of the artist. Held in a carved stained wooden frame.
