Condition

The board appears to be in good original condition. There are scattered specks of white paint in isolated places across the paint surface and the surface appears to be quite dirty. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a few isolated spots of fluorescence which appear to correspond to the artist's use of a dark brown pigment. Held in a white painted and gilded wooden frame with a canvas cross-section. Please telephone the department on 020 7293 5381 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
