- 145.5 cm; 71.5 cm; 39.5 cm
surmounted by a brocatelle violette d'Espagne marble top and platform stretcher. The upper section fitted with a glazed door opening to two glass shelves. Signed henry Dasson, 1881 to the right side gilt-bronze moulded edge of frieze. The back of the carcass stamped HENRY DASSON 1881.
Condition
Overall very good original condition; the marble top with old repaired break to back left corner with some infilling and with small chips and wear to the edges; light surface scratches to marble top and to marble platform stretcher; the gilt-bronze mounts cleaned at some point and retaining original gilding with some small areas of dirt and tarnishing; tarnishing mainly to gilt-bronze banding of platform stretcher and to pierced gallery and to convex mouldings; the veneers in very good condition and French polished; some scratches to back right foot and molding and leg; light surface scratches.
