finely painted on cover, base, and inside with narrative mythological scenes in landscapes, within mauve borders, the head, feet and tail enameled with multi-color scalework, the finial formed as a seated Satyr with pan-pipes

one foot re-attached and with losses to enamel, otherwise good, particularly nice painting
