Description

  • 51 cm; 60 cm
the bowl painted with a river landscape to the center within foliate and cloud borders, the exterior painted with reserved of river landscapes on a cobalt blue ground and flanked by foliate handles raised on dolphin-form supports.

Condition

The bowel in good condition with no cracks or restoration but with losses to gilt-highlighted decoration and some defaults to the blue glaze around the reserves consistent with firing; the gilt-bronze mounts well cast and chased but with dirt and tarnishing.
