fitted with three frieze drawers, gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface, the upper structure centered by a compartment flanked by three drawers.

Condition

Bearing the signature F. Linke to the back of the right hand side bronze chute; overall good condition; the veneers with a glossy finish; the top of the superstructure with thin horizontal age cracks and with small patches to the left and right edges, the right edge with a large patch approximately 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches; the gilt-tooled red leather writing surface replaced; the gilt-bronze cleaned with very minor wear and pitting.
