Condition
Overall very good condition and presentation; the original gilt-tooled green leather top is stained, scratched and cracked in places especially over lines of construction; the carcass is stable and made of oak; losses to veneer and lifting to the back of each leg; losses to front frieze of desk around edges of drawers; four large kingwood veneer pieces in a bag; all bronzes nicely cast and chased with a good gold color; some areas of dirt and tarnishing; overall with the usual minor age cracks and nicks consistent with age and use.
