set on a wooden base.  Restorations.

Condition

Although large and finely carved the multi-figural group has some condition issues mostly with numerous hairline cracks filled with dirt to base and figures and with multiple visible glued restorations to figures at arms and legs and around the left side of the ivory base; the kneeling female figure holding a cup to the left side with visible restorations to her right toes, the figure has been re-attached; the couple next to the kneeling figure to the left side with restoration to right hand showing traces of glue at the wrist; the kneeling cupid with small finger lacking to right hand; the seated male figure to front of table with restored break to right arm showing the seam with the arm; the seated male figure to back left side of table with a replacement to right shoulder showing seam and glue; the female figure to the extreme right of the table with restoration to right arm at mid fore-arm and lacking little finger to right hand; the bacchante at far right of group with restoration to her left leg and to right hand showing seam at wrist level; the base is made in several sections joined by ivory flower-carved pins with small losses to leaf tips; Please note this lot contains endangered material which may require a CITES permit to export.
