Catalogue Note

Although no Meissen marks are visible without unmounting the porcelain sections from their original wooden plastered backing, the stamped and incised numbering are consistent with the manufacture production standard. Moreover the fine quality of molding, detailing and coloring of the present lot, for which the Meissen manufacture is well known and much sought after, is well represented here.
