the central cartouche signed Poitevin and painted with a classical female figure freeing doves and attended by winged putti, the reverse cartouche painted with a classical landscape, the cover with interlaced L's and A/S / France.

Condition

Overall in very good condition and presentation; some minor losses and chips to gilt-highlights, the finial to the cover is replaced; the gilt-bronze mounts highly tarnished and dirty; the porcelain in its original condition and has retained its color.
