each of baluster form, the silver mounts chased with scrolling foliage and set with bloodstone cabochons in white-bordered Renaissance-style mounts, the finely painted grisaille scenes framed by multi-colored strapwork with demi-figures on gold ground, topped by figures of Minerva and a warrior, the flat handles with female masks and supported by goat heads, on bloodstone ball feet, the scenes identified in English and representing:

****Please note that these vases are mounted in silver-gilt, not gilt metal, and are by Karl Rössler, circa 1895.**** rubbing to gilding and slight enamel loss on mounts, some abraision where they meet grounds, but scenes in good condition and very well painted
