the slant front opening to pigeonholes and two small drawers above three frieze drawers.

Condition

Overall fair condition and presentation with the minor usual dents and scratches to veneer consistent with age and use; minor scratches visible to the top of the secretaire at the bottom left hand side; old tearing to veneers to right side of upper section with restoration; the veneers have a thick glossy finish; right frieze drawer with a horizontal crack to glossy finish approximately 2 inches long; lifting to veneer banding to lower left corner of left frieze drawer; please note that the chutes to the back legs are replaced and are later cast from the front chutes; one candle branch to each putto replaced; one candle branch with restoration to lower section; the same putto with soldering to arms and hands at joins with the candle branches.
